22nd Bled eConference
It is a pleasure to inform you that review process for Research Papers is completed.
At this opportunity the organizer would like to thank all the reviewers for their contribution to the 22nd Bled eConference.
Early this week all the authors have been notified about the Research Track Chair's decision on their papers. If you are an author and a primary editorial contact for the submission and had not received the acceptance notification from the Research Track Chair, contact us at BledConference@fov.uni-mb.si.
Please note that final acceptance for publication is dependent upon:
(1) following the specified revision requirements (see reviewers' comments)
(2) strictly adhering to the provided formatting template for the conference which you can find here.
Final submissions must be delivered via http://BledConference.org in one of the following formats: .doc, .docx, .rtf.
To upload the file follow these steps:
- log on the web-site;
- select your paper by clicking on its title;
- choose Review sub-page as also demonstrated on the screenshot;
- go to the Director's Decision section;
- upload the final submission as Author's Version.
If you want to submit more than one file, then you need to 'Choose' and 'Submit' the first file, and then repeat the process for each of the other files.
Please note that due to the very tight schedule, the final date for submission of revised paper is May 15th, 2009.
For publication of the paper in Conference Proceedings, it is required that at least one author of the paper must be registered for the Conference by May 14th, 2009, which is also the last day of early bird registration.
Please send a statement that one of the authors will register for the Conference and present the paper to Marjeta.Marolt@fov.uni-mb.si.
Please include in your notice:
- author's statement (as above)
- full mailing address
- e-mail address
Congratulations to all authors of accepted research papers.
Interested in submitting to this conference?
Online submissions are available from December 15, 2008. The deadline for the submission of research papers has been extended to February 27, 2009. Please contact Dr Paula Swatman, Research Track Chair with any queries you might have.
The theme for this year’s conference is eEnablement: Facilitating an Open, Effective and Representative eSociety, a reference to the increasing importance of engaging people at all levels of our 21st century eSociety: from those who structure our eSociety to business, researchers, service providers, technology infrastructure developers and, ultimately, individual citizens. These changes involve ensuring effectiveness within a changing landscape of value creation systems – focusing on the relationships between individual stakeholders and facilitating e-interaction between all stakeholders.
